No Ordinary Love

In 1989, Days of Our Lives had good girl Jennifer Rose Horton, the granddaughter of Salem's most established family, cross paths with resident bad boy Jack Deveraux, the jaded, cynical son of a Senator-turned-murderer who had his own checkered past, and from that moment, DOOL's most beloved supercouple was born.

They were an unlikely couple from the beginning--the young, innocent girl next door and the town pariah who everyone thought was irredeemable. But what unfolded was a love story that was poignant, funny, sexy, romantic, and most of all, enduring. In Jennifer, Jack found redemption from his past sins, and in Jack, Jennifer found her strength and spirit. Together they faced numerous obstacles and adventures that only made their love stronger.

Matthew Ashford and Melissa Reeves created a one-of-a-kind magic on the small screen that could never be duplicated, and when their roles were recast, Jack and Jennifer lost the tell-tale sparkle that made them such a beloved couple. But now the only Jack and Jennifer are back in full-force, and the magic has returned! Come fall in love with Jack and Jennifer all over again...

What's New

  • January 20: hi everyone, I know it's been months since I've updated the site, and I do apologize for neglecting it. I am in the process of redesigning it (yes, again LOL) and moving it to my new server. I'm not sure when it'll all be moved, but in the meantime, I did want to point you to Jenn's website. If you're a fan of KUWTD, she'll have an update on that ongoing fic :). Thanks for understanding!!
  • August 21: "Keeping Up With The Deverauxes" by guest author Jennifer-Lynn D'Anna has been updated in the Fan Fiction section!
  • May 8: Hi all!! Just wanted to post a quick note to the visitors of this site... I just wanted to apologize for being so horribly behind in updating the fics and making the complete transition in the new design of the site... School has been an absolute bear, and I haven't had a lot of time in the last few months *sigh*. I am also suffering from major writer's block with "In This Life," so this explains the lack of updates. However, good news, Jenn has more episodes to come, so I will try my best to get them up as soon as possible. Until then, please bear with me. I do hope to return to ITL eventually--I have the story in my head still, but it's been tough getting it out (on the other hand, the Harry Potter bug has bitten me completely and I seem to be able to crank out fics in THAT universe... Go figure! ;)). Thanks for your patience, all!!
  • March 13: "In This Life" has been updated in the Fan Fiction section!
  • Reminder: Don't forget to write to DOOL, Matt, and Missy to show your support for this once and future (and eternal) supercouple. Let's not let them forget that we're thrilled to have the one and only Jack and Jennifer Deveraux back, and that we want them to have an exciting, wonderful storyline worthy of their talents (but please remember to keep your letters respectful and positive at all times--even when you're writing to suggest changes or improvements, they will be more likely to listen if you word them diplomatically)!!

    Write them at:
